Where are we from?
Founded in early 2001, Ithaca has built an enviable,
worldwide reputation for developing and implementing innovative, effective solutions, predominantly for bluechip, public and large private clients.
Our core principles of independence, doing what we say we are going to do always and delivering value are as applicable today as when we began.
We operate from offices in London, Melbourne and Edinburgh and have undertaken projects throughout Europe, Asia, North America and Australasia, delivering outstanding results across the spectrum of strategy, performance, enablers and structure.
Ithaca's name derives from the Greek island of the same name. Ithaca was once the island kingdom of Ulysses, a hero of the Trojan War. After the end of the war Ulysses took another 10-years to reach Ithaca having to fight Cyclops, repel the Siren's songs and escape Circe's seductive embrace along the way.
Organisations today are not unlike Ulysses - they have goals but frequently lack a map showing a way through the maze. Ithaca's service profile is designed to provide not only the map, but a guide to show the way, facilitating effective and sustainable change. |

Who are we?
Ithaca was founded by - and has grown with - people
who saw that business could not be compartmentalised.
We understand that everything impacts on something
else and our solutions take that into account. The
outcomes we implement are dramatic and measurable
for the organisation and for the bottom line.
Our proven, process-oriented approach, applied together with robust business analysis has given Ithaca a strong track record of success across numerous industry sectors.
We have particular expertise in seeing through the implementation of the process and systems designs we develop for our clients. In other words, more than strategy, more than systems integration and more than a report - hands-on, risk-sharing hard work.
Ithaca's primary objective is to work with clients to make sustainable change happen. We don't have pre-conceived ideas of what a solution consists, each is determined on its merits.
After facilitating the creation of appropriate business processes and matching organisational structures, we will, if necessary, source the enablers that offer the support required, applying stringent specifications to them to determine which is most suitable. Finally, we accompany clients on the implementation journey - the most difficult step for any organisation to achieve successfully - and we are prepared to do this in a risk-sharing way.
